Q. How do I find Installation Instructions for my Vehicle?
A. Installation instructions for the Timbren SES (Suspension Enhancement System) kits are available in English, French and Spanish.
Either choose your manufacturer from the Application Guide menu at the left side of this page or click here to find your Application Guide.

  • Clearance Instructions

  • For Light Duty Pick-ups and Vans
  •  
  • Rear kits should have approximately a 1" gap between the rubber spring and the axle, for 1/2 and 3/4 ton vehicles, and a 1/2" gap for 1 ton vehicles.
  •  
  • Front kits usually have zero clearance between the Aeon rubber spring and the axle.
  • For Light Duty Raised or Lowered Pick-ups.
    SES Kits for Raised or Lowered Vehicles are now available upon request.

  • For Medium and Heavy Duty Trucks and Trailers
    Heavy duty vehicles often have a pre-load as outlined in the instruction sheet.

  • IMPORTANT: Check clearances when the vehicle is EMPTY

  • Consider your Customer's Needs...
    Knowing what they use the vehicle for will help you to select the correct SES Kit. For example, the same chassis can be used for personal use, as a tradesperson's van or as a tow truck.
  • Knowing that the suspension has been modified or is old and sagging should indicate a need to adjust the ride height to obtain the right clearances. This can be done by altering the kit (changing the rubber spring or bracket) or re-arching the steel spring to renew the optimum ride height.
